骆驼赛跑,传统上称为酋长的运动即使在今天的小村庄Al Shahaniya骆驼赛马场在卡塔尔也流行。是卡塔尔最昂贵的体育赛事之一。Al-Shahaniya赛车轨道,一个小时的车程到闪闪发光的沙漠多哈市中心以北外,从11月到2月国内、国际比赛在星期五。专业骆驼比赛于1972年开始，在卡塔尔虽然是传统体育和骆驼赛道是来访多哈的一个必游景点。
